Footsteps to Futures is an independent therapeutic residential children’s home provider that is committed to improving the lives of young people. Young people who access our services usually experience emotional and behavioral difficulties and mental health related issues.

Since 2015 we have been providing safe, warm and therapeutic living environments for young people aged 11 – 18 years old. The main focus in our home is to provide care and support that we feel the young people deserve through a therapeutic care environment.

Our overall aims are to give our young people the best opportunities in life, to help prepare them for adulthood and independent living, whether that be helping to guide them through their own emotional discovery, teaching them life skills or supporting them in building their social skills.

As a small independent provider, we are able to focus our resources more effectively on the outcomes of our young people, through a bespoke and individualised care plan that suits their needs and works towards positive outcomes.

We fully believe in quality over quantity, and our vision is to create a high-quality service that can achieve the best outcomes for all children and young people that step through our doors.

Based in the East Midlands, our services are open to all placing authorities within the United Kingdom.

Our services are delivered by carefully selected staff who have been recruited through safer recruitment practices. When interviewing new staff, we look for people who work alongside our values and can deliver the level of service we require. Staff members under-go in depth initial training, with continuous training and development throughout their time at Footsteps.
